Iberia Parish Democratic Party Executive Committee Supports Establishment of Early Voting Location in Jeanerette

Jeanerette, LA – The Iberia Parish Democratic Party Executive Committee is pleased to announce its firm support for the establishment of the early voting location in Jeanerette. This initiative, approved by both the parish government and the state of Louisiana, is a significant step toward enhancing the democratic process for all registered voters, regardless of political affiliation.

The proposed early voting site in Jeanerette, the second largest municipality in Iberia Parish, will provide a convenient and accessible voting location for residents throughout the parish, including those in Grand Marais, Lydia, Loreauville, Rynella, Coteau, Morbihan, and Delcambre. This initiative underscores our commitment to making voting more accessible, recognizing it as a fundamental right that benefits the entire parish.

“Ensuring that all registered voters in Iberia Parish have access to early voting is a prudent use of taxpayers' money and a vital investment in our democratic process,” said Lady Fontenette Brown, Iberia Parish District 12 Councilwoman.
